WHY SVADHYAYA EXISTS

More than what you learn.
How you learn to grow.

Education can make room for achievement without losing curiosity, choice or the joy of understanding. That’s the future we want to explore.

OUR MISSION

Keep curiosity alive.
Help agency take root.

Help young learners explore, practise and reflect with encouragement. Make useful learning strategies tangible through small activities, thoughtful questions and clear explanations.

Explore freely. Understand deeply. Reflect gently.

OUR VISION

A world of learners.
Not a world of labels.

Imagine learning where Indian knowledge traditions inspire questions, learning science informs activities, and families support growth without reducing a child to a score.

A direction to work toward—not an outcome already proven.

THE GOALS THAT GUIDE US

Four small shifts.
A meaningful direction.

01

Ask better questions

Move from “What’s the answer?” to “How could I find out?” Make space for reasons, observations and uncertainty.

02

Build useful learning habits

Try recalling, revisit an idea and begin with a manageable plan. Notice a strategy without making it a label.

03

Strengthen learner choice

Choose a starting point, ask for a hint, take a break and decide what to try next. Progress need not be a race.

04

Invite supportive conversations

Help families ask about discoveries and difficulties—not demand scores, comparisons or a private diary.

These are product goals. Svadhyaya has not yet demonstrated developmental or learning outcomes.

A LITTLE SPACE FOR EVERY JOURNEY

Different chapters.
The same room to grow.

Three connected surfaces inside the private family beta. Authored activities for adult-supervised use—not an approved or accredited child-facing service.

A SIMPLE WAY TO BEGIN

Wonder.
Discover.
Make it your own.

No perfect starting point. No need to finish everything. One good question is enough.

Start with sign-in
  1. 01

    Choose a little adventure

Pick an island or a practice that sparks your curiosity. All six Kids quests are open from the start.

  2. 02

    Try, with room for help

Look closely, answer a question or read the explanation together. Hints and retries never cost rewards.

  3. 03

    Celebrate the discovery

Collect a keepsake, grow your garden or simply move on. Optional rewards mark activity—not ability.

  4. 04

    Pause. Notice. Return by choice.

Reflection is an invitation, not a gate. There is no daily streak to protect and no penalty for taking a break.

A LITTLE PLAY GOES A LONG WAY

Collect moments of wonder.
Not reasons to compare.

Playful keepsakes bring the demo to life. No purchases, chance-based prizes, rankings or rewards for sharing personal information.

Stars & diamonds

Three stars and one named diamond for each distinct quest. Replays remain open, without duplicate rewards.

Badges & certificates

Six activity badges. Illustrated participation certificates after 1, 3 or 6 quests—printable, carrying the learner’s first name only, with no class band, school or date.

A garden that grows with discovery

One flower per island explored. No watering schedule, wilted flowers or demands to come back.

Play, in your own way

Three original companions, free hints, a calm mode and the option to hide rewards without losing access to learning.

Badges and the garden are saved to the owner’s learner profile after adult activation. Printable certificates stay anonymous by design. All of it marks activity, not ability, and none of it is an accredited award or evidence of learning gains.

ROOTED IN WISDOM. OPEN TO EVIDENCE.

A thoughtful name.
An honest beginning.

Svādhyāya draws on a Sanskrit tradition of study and recitation. We use it as an invitation to study, question and reflect—not as a claim that ancient inspiration proves a modern product works.

Indian knowledge traditions and learning science meet here with a clear boundary: philosophy can inspire a question; research must test the educational claim. Secular learning pathways are always welcome.

TRUST SHOULD BE PART OF THE EXPERIENCE

Clear choices.
No hidden report card.

Real sign-in. Clear limits.

The Login link is intended for parents and adult reviewers. The platform handles authentication and basic-profile consent. We never ask for your platform password, and this site shows no second login form.

Sign-in is not age verification or independent proof of parental authority. This is a private single-family beta; learning routes stay restricted to the allowlisted owner account.

Small amounts of data. Clear choices.

After adult activation, this beta saves one owner-linked learner’s first name, class band, preferences, completed lesson levels and a server-timed learning allowance in Cloudflare D1. No child email, date of birth, school, open journal or chat is collected.

The owner can export or delete the profile at any time. The platform handles account/session data; hosting may process request metadata and security cookies. No advertising or third-party analytics.

Evidence before strong claims.

This is not a validated developmental assessment, counselling service or approved child pilot. Independent legal, ethics, safeguarding and learning reviews are still needed.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Curious about
Svadhyaya?

We believe honest answers are a better beginning than bigger promises.

Is Svadhyaya ready for real children to enroll?

No. This is a private beta for one owner household with adult supervision—not open enrollment, and there is no public or child registration. The activities are authored and save real records, but Svadhyaya is not an approved, accredited or independently reviewed child service. Independent legal, ethics, child-development and safeguarding review is still required before any wider pilot with minors.

Do I need to log in to explore?

To read about Svadhyaya, no. The homepage, Privacy and Research pages are public. To use the learning activities, yes—they are part of a private single-family beta and open only to the allowlisted owner account. Sign-in is handled by the platform; you need an account there and must authorize basic-profile sharing.

Will logging in save my stars or notebook?

Yes—for the owner household. After an adult activates the profile, the learner’s first name, class band, preferences, completed lesson levels and a server-timed learning allowance are saved in Cloudflare D1 and survive refreshes and device changes. No notebook, journal or chat exists. The owner can export or delete the whole profile at any time.

What do the stars and certificates mean?

They mark completion of authored activities, not intelligence, discipline or verified skill. Guided explanations count exactly the same as an independent try. Badges and the garden are saved in the profile. A printable certificate carries the learner’s first name at the account owner’s request, and deliberately omits class band, school, date of birth and completion date, because a printed copy leaves the app. Nothing here is an accredited award or evidence of learning gains.

Does the experience require a religious belief or practice?

No. Traditions provide optional inspiration, not a belief test. Secular alternatives are welcome, and philosophical meaning is kept distinct from scientific evidence.

How can I explore as a parent or reviewer?

Sign in with the owner account, then open Account & access to review the saved profile, activation record and the export or delete controls. Preferences let you choose a class band, challenge level, companion, calm presentation and whether rewards are shown. Read Research for sources and unresolved gates, and Privacy for exactly what is stored.
